Hello everyone

Today is a sad day because this adventure for the subject of English Language Didactics is over.

Maribel has started the class explaining some modifications on the learning situation that we have to do and upload to moodle. She has helped us to make it easier (Thank you very much)

Then it was a different class because we had to say goodbye, we sang some Christmas carols, Maribel gave us some delicious chocolates and then our partner Valentina brought some sweets to eat together.

We have taken a souvenir photo. And then we all said goodbye to Maribel.

I am very sorry to finish this stage, I have learned a lot in this subject and I have had a great time. I have put knowledge into practice and done things that I never imagined.

Here I say goodbye to this newspaper, but I hope to return soon with more interesting things.

In today's class Maribel has taught us different resources to work in the classroom, such as stories, songs, rhythms and limericks.

These are always very attractive to students. I am also going to leave you some photos of the ones he took us to class and we were able to see in person.

Later we were talking and the teacher was explaining to us the last activity that we are going to carry out in the subject. This is a learning situation. We were talking about the possibility of changing it due to the workload we had during Christmas and Maribel would appreciate it.

In this class I have learned how with songs or stories you can achieve a more complete learning and in a more playful way for children. I really liked being able to see the stories and resources that Maribel used in her school classes.

During today's class we have made the presentation on festivals that I have left you in another entry in case it serves as inspiration or help in your work or classes.

Before our presentation, another group has made theirs. I found group 5 and its topic was Story activities.

How ugly it would be to think of my presentation jajaja I'm going to tell you a little about it.

In general I liked their activities but some like the one with the broken phone were a bit difficult for the level they had chosen.

On the other hand, in my opinion the most innovative and what caught my attention the most was the directions and guiding a partner. I think it's an activity. very funny and that our future students may like a lot.

In addition, my colleagues made a great presentation of their topic.

Today's class is held online at the usual time. through the university platform called Teams.

The first part of the Maribel class was reviewing the deliveries of the different practices that we had to do and setting a date for others that were still missing.

After this he was explaining the rubrics, the different types of rubrics and the platforms to make them.

He gave us 6 steps to follow to build a rubric:

I have learned to make rubrics correctly and not what I did until now, which were all the same. I think it is very important because they are the basis from which we will evaluate our future students.

I will practice creating rubrics with the two pages and thus have more ease when I have to do them for real.

 Hello everyone

Today's class has been a little shorter since it has consisted of the presentation of group 8. Its topic was Speaking with support. 

There were 3 members and each one has carried out an activity. 

During the theoretical part of the presentation they have brought us all together in a group and I thought it was a very good idea to capture and keep our attention throughout the presentation. I leave you a photo of the distribution of the classroom during that little while.

I found all three very interesting and I had a great time, but I would highlight two of them.

The first one that consisted of three different minigames, where through them you could learn vocabulary and the correct pronunciation of these and then the last one that consisted of a song with its corresponding dance. The best thing about this activity is that later we have been able to change one of the phrases of each song and it has been a lot of fun.

I loved the presentation of this group and I think I will use their ideas in my future classes.

 In this class we made the distribution for the activity of how to evaluate the different abilities.

To my group, that we are group 6, we touched the reading ability.

The rest of the class Maribel explained to us how to do this practice and we started to discuss it in class. In this way, all those doubts that arose were resolved at the time.

In addition, the teacher provided us with a lot of material so that we could carry out the practice.

I really liked having time in class to practice, as it helps us to move forward due to the workload we have with other subjects.

Today's class is a continuation of yesterday's topic. Maribel has introduced two approaches: the Formative approach and the Summative approach. She has explained each one to us and the differences between them.

Later, on the screen through a presentation, in it they explained to us how to evaluate the young apprentices.

In this class I have learned that there are two different approaches to evaluation and the characteristics of each one.

I have liked these classes, because I think that to be a good teacher you have to know how to evaluate.
